We are a second home for thousands of boulderers and employ over 50 staff members

Front Desk

As a Front Desk staff member you’ll be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include checking in climbers, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness and providing first aid in case of injury. You’ll also assist with retail sales, rentals, and basic gym upkeep. Ideal candidates are friendly, organized, and passionate about climbing, though please note that climbing strength is not relevant to this position. Weekend and evening availability is required.

Assistant Manager: Chatswood

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping build the community at our new Chatswood location, both amongst climbers and staff.

Working closely with the gym manager (Amy), you’ll support the day-to-day operations with a focus on creating a welcoming, well-organised space for staff and customers alike. This is a flexible role offering around 20 hours per week, though adjustments can be made for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include staff rostering, ordering, responding to customer enquiries, retail upkeep, cleanliness oversight, and assisting with events. Ideal candidates are reliable, communicative and excited to help build the psyched climbing community on the north side.

Applications opening soon.

Route Setting

As a Route Setter, you’ll be responsible for designing and setting creative, engaging, and safe boulder problems for climbers of all levels. This role requires climbing proficiency, an openness to feedback and a high level of teamwork. Prior setting experience is preferred, but strong climbing ability and a willingness to learn are also valued.

Route setting positions are very limited, so we recommend chatting to your local gym’s setting team in person if it is available to you.

Hold & Wall Cleaning

As a Hold Cleaning Staff member, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our climbing experience. Your primary responsibility will be cleaning climbing holds and walls.

This position requires the use of drills and ladders and a good level of physicality, as climbing holds and cleaning equipment can be heavy. Prior experience is a plus but not required. All hold cleaning is performed late in the evenings to avoid customer disruption so late night availability is a requirement.
